The TrueBuild Application

TrueBuild is a suite of software products that support truss manufacturers in defining roof and floor layouts, creating profiles for all the trusses in the roof and floor system, performing rigorous engineering design on all trusses and producing detailed and accurate manufacturing information. Each software product in the suite performs a specific part of the overall process.

Layout

The Layout software allows the user to quickly and accurately define the shape of the construction project being built. The program can then automatically determine the placement and profile of all required structural members to create the roof and floor systems for the project. Also, all loading information is captured during the Layout process. The profile and loading information is exported to the engineering portion of the suite.

Truss

The Truss software performs sophisticated engineering analysis and design on structural and non-structural truss members. The user may define the profile and loading from scratch or import this information directly from the Layout program. The Truss program not only performs engineering analysis, but also design optimization to find a minimal material solution. The Truss program also generates manufacturing information in the form of paper reports and data files that support many automated saw and setup machinery. Quotes and Invoices may also be generated from the Truss program.

Transfer

Once the trusses are designed in the Truss software, the Transfer program allows the user to send the trusses to Eagle's engineering group for review and seals. This system utilizes the internet to send the appropriate file to the engineers for review.

Updater

Eagle uses a sophisticated system for users to receive updated versions of the software over the internet. The Update program will alert customers that new versions of software are available and allows them to update their local computers at the touch of a button.
